Hi, Friends!
We’re thrilled to share the 16th issue of Bone Parade with you!
This issue features five fabulous stories:
Brenda Gutierrez’s "Sergio the Bailador” is a quick read about a complex man who loves to dance and the legend he left behind in Nasty City. This is Gutierrez’s first publication—we can’t wait to read more of Brenda’s work!
Christopher Labaza’s “Chicken” is about a a woman who watches two young lovers chase love, happiness, and the last chicken on earth.
Stephen M. Pierce’s “Final Emancipation” features a man whose flatmate is a deceased Civil War soldier.
Bruce McAllister’s “Those Who Love Us” has a narrator from a world with four-winged tropical birds who reflects on growing up with bright orange hair.
Paul Stansbury’s “The Hollow Face” is a captivating story about a man mysteriously pulled into the Scrublands where he is forced to dig for groobs with others who share his terrible fate.
