Read Issue 13 of Bone Parade
Hey, friends!
Issue #13 of Bone Parade is ready to read! We hope you enjoy these stories as much as we did!
This issue features five fabulous stories:
Elijah Woodruff’s “Hooked” is about a father and daughter fishing for zyps in the universe. It is strange and delightful.
Paul Smith’s “Frederick Guttzeit” features a narrator who visits a cemetery out of obligation and has a miraculous encounter with Frederick Guttzeit.
Kat Caldwell’s “Memory Ghost” gives form to the memories a child leaves behind, culminating in a reunion decades after their separation.
Grace Tynski’s “Flesh and Blood” takes place in a car two weeks after a chemical spill turns the air toxic.
Ace Chu’s “Crab” is an intense exploration of crabs, existential dread, and carcinization.
If you like an author's story, please let them know in the comments. We all love to read nice things about our work.
Bone Parade already received so many great submissions during this open call. Thank you for sharing your stories with us! Submissions are open until October 15th and won’t reopen again until next year.
We’ll post again when the 14th issue is released in December.
